Amd phenom 955 temperature

Hello everyone
I have a amd phenom ii x4 955 be with stock heat sink (new design of heat sink with copper pipes)
i have asus m4a88t-mle motherboard
my temperature are around 38 to 40c at idle and upto 48c under load without oc
ARE these temps are good or not??
HOW can i overclock my cpu with the stock heatsink???
what is safe temp for ocing this cpu ???

I forget one thing how can i change the multiplier settings of the cpu???
