i have a big problem on my laptop. it's an old HP Compaq Presario 2585. has 446MB RAM, a Pentium 4 2.79GHz.

a lot of trouble happens when i get to sites that even have Flash on it, even if it's a small one... it takes its toll on my unit. plus when i get to the task manager, it shows a bad 100% CPU usage. i have no choice but to play Farmville, though.

what solution can you give? is the solution on my RAM or the CPU itself, but PC stores told me CPUs are irreplaceable, yet i don't have enough money to buy a new one. here are some of the apps installed:

- MS SQL Server 2005 Express
- Netbeans IDE 6.8
- Adobe Dreamweaver CS3
- Wampserver 2.0i
- Safari, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, IE 8 browsers

(NOTE: as much as possible, please don't ask me to remove any of these 'cause they're used for my studies.)

thanks for you help! :p

yeah, i think so. ironically i was able to install dreamweaver when it required >512MB. :) just another query: how to determine the max amount of memory for my laptop... since it's kinda old.
