Does anyone have experiance with Formula 7 nano diamond paste

thermal paste by antec anyone have experiance with formula 7? i just got it and its extreamly tough to spread almost like its a bad batch wondering if its suppose to be tough

What you have is a good thermal compound. Most of the good ones are very tough to spread.

I use Arctic Silver 5 and it takes me a few minutes to spread this tough stuff onto the CPU and the heatsink. I work it from the center to the edges. It takes time because of the high viscosity.

Yes! Take your time spreading it; don't rush! The stuff is very stiff and has to be spread with care. Spread the stuff to a thin even layer.

you wernt very clear... yes it is ok to just put a little in the middle like a pea size or do i need to spread it out before putting heat sink on

Put a pea size quantity in the middle, and spread it out evenly into a thin layer on both the CPU as well as the heatsink base. Then assemble the two together.

Use the alcohol sparingly; carefully and very little.
