Rookie trying to OC my X4 955

Hey guys, I just bought a new fan and heatsink and want to try slightly overclocking my CPU. I have absolutely no idea where to start. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be awesome.

Here is my current system:

AMD Phenom X4 955 Black Edition 3.4GHZ
Coolermaster Hyper N 520 Fan and Heatsink
MSI 880GM-P51 AM3 Micro ATX Mobo
2 Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB 7200RPM 3Gb/s
4 x 4GB G.Skill Ripjaws X Series DDR3 RAM
EVGA GeForce GTX 460 SE 1GB 256-bit GDDR5
OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W PSU

I found the overclocking quide that has been posted on this forum. I will take a look at that and respond with any more questions. If anyone has any advice in the meantime Ill definitley take it Thanks!
