Microphone Issues on a Sound Blaster Card

Okay, so i recently downgraded from Windows 7 to XP, and since then, I have been having this problem where it plays my sound through the speakers and feeds directly through the microphone (ex: my mic is muted and I'm wearing headphones, yet it is still playing feedback through teamspeak). I can fix this muting "Microphone" in the sound settings, but then i can't use the microphone at all. All that i want is to be able to use talk without it feedbacking through my speakers. My sound card is Sound Blauster Audigy SE 5.1.
