Thanks to everyone who replied to my post about a Sony Vaio with overheating
issues. I appreciate your advice - I did go back to Sony and it turned out I
had a dodgy battery which was causing it to "work too hard" and overhead
more than usual for an Athlon. The lid is a bit wonky but not getting worse
and the LCD doesn't get really hot anymore (at least not in the cooler
weather we are having anyway).
