any gain to using an old 8800gt for phyx? Currently running 2x 260gtx in sli, but recently went to evga x58 sli and have an extra pci-e slot now. Just wondered if i might still get any use out of that 8800 in the extra slot.

If you can power it, then why the hell not? If you don't like the results just remove it and chuck it in a drawer somewhere. :lol:

It's probably a waste of power, but hey, it'll give you a few more FPS in games that support physx.

honestly, I'd probably stick it up on craigslist or give it away to a friend
