Video Card Sound?

I have been wondering if using the sound on my HD 4830 will slow it down at all? Also, if I was to use the sound on my video card, would it be better than the soundblaster audigy SE I am currently using?

I believe the sound in the video cards is a seperate circuit that is then added to HDMI, it won't have any impact.

As far as better? I wouldn't think so, it is probably close to onboard audio of a motherboard, except just an easier method do deliver it through HDMI.
