Sorry if this is in the wrong thread was not to sure if this goes here or somewhere else. Just wanted to see what you guys thought of my rig so far...

I7 920 $200
MSI X58M $140
SuperTalent Chrome Series 1600 DDR3 Ram 3gb $40
Antec TruePower New TP-750 750W $100
SuperTalent SSD ME 64 gb $100
Seagate 7200.12 1tb x3 $210
Antec P182 $70
Xigamatek hdt-s1283 $30
LG DVD-RW $30
Grand Total of around $880

I am currently using my old 8800gt as a graphics card so i guess that adds about another 70$ of worth to the computer but I think for $880 I have built a pretty amazing computer. What do you guys think? Any improvements that I could do?

Thanks in advance for any help/comments/advice.

I would say your graphics is pretty weak for the system around it.

I'm assuming you have your OS on the SSD? What kind of RAID setup?

Overall, it's a decent build.

My graphics card is weak but I don't really game anymore so I cant justify a graphcis card upgrade... especially since i tried to sell it but no one wanted to buy it off of me. Which kind of sucks because i do have a 24 inch + 20 inch monitors.

Yes my OS + Applications + Games are on my SSD. No raid setup at the moment because I bought the drives at separate times and they had data on them that I had no way to back up.

The best part about this build is that I only spent about 280$ of my own money. Sold my old rig for 350$ and my friends bought me about 250$ worth of computer parts for my birthday.
