Download speedfan, HDTune, or some other program that can read the smart status of the drive and see if it also shows problems.

Also, go to the drive manufacturer's web site and download their diagnotic tools. if it reports problems and the drive is still under warranty, you will be able to get a free replacement drive.

It might help if you give some system info, people can direct you to better tools for your system then.

I would immediately backup your data and then debate whether the error message is real or not.
