Mixing Ram

is it okay to mix single and double sided dimms as long as they are same clock speed and will this affect the overall performance of my system?

No, do not mix those, they won't fit probably and it just won''t work, because the interface is different,

what RAM do u have? and what are you trying to do?

i have 3x 3GB crucial RAM ( double sided ) and 3 x 1GB samsung RAM ( single sided ) both same clock speed, i was wondering if i could combine them for a total of 89 GB of RAM

that would give you 12 gb

do you know what kind of RAM they are exactly?

like DDR2, ECC, or DDR3


why do you need so much RAM
