M2A-VM HDMI overclocking wont post when ldt set to 800

my problem is i have my amd 64 x2 oced to 2,45ghz my fsb is at 235,my ram is at 667 it pc2 6400 i had to set it lower as when i overclock it raises it above the 800 that it should run at,i cool n quiet disabled, spread spectrum disabled, but when i lower the ldt to 800 to lower my HT below the 1000 the board wont post, so i have to remove the cmos battery and start again, i need to lower the LDT as my ht is at 1175 at the momment and i cant overclock any higher without lowering it as board becomes unstable, any help would be great
