I thought my computer was a little off. I have a i7 920 and i'm only showing 4 cores in the task manager. I remember I saw eight but now I don't know what happened.. I checked my bios and it says it's enabled but windows 7 doesn't see it? Can anyone help me out. Thanks

hmm, I think its in task manager is just not showing your logical cores, windows 7 probably sees them but task manager probably isn't showing. However thats really weird. Make sure in settings for task mananger it says 1 per each CPU. Also, check your resouce monitor and see how many cores it displays also. And to make absolutly sure that the OS sees all eight, go to task mananger>Processes>Right click on any process>Click "Set Affinity"> If there are 8 boxes from which you can select and the others are grayed out then the OS sees all 8. IF you can only check mark 4 of them that means it doesn't.
