I haven't built a computer since 2004 and now I am in need of a new computer cause my last one completely gave out on me. I'v been reading a lot expecially on tomsguide.com and have been able to pick up a lot of valuable info. But just so I don't make any mistakes, I thought I would see what you guys think.
I just need some opinions or suggestions.
I don't need anything else except for these unless you guys think I might need something else.

Video Card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814150394

Case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6811119196

PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817339024

Memory http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820231274

MoBo http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Prod [...] e=10010088

CPU http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Prod [...] e=10010530

Hard Drive http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Prod [...] e=10007194

The memory I'm not sure on since it had no reviews on Newegg.

The Motherboard. It has 1 PCI-E 2.0 x16 slot 1
PCI-E x8 slot and if I were to crossfire it would it run at x16 or x8?

Oh :o and by the way i know that newegg is out of stock on the video card. But i'm sure I can find elsewhere. :D

Oh yeah i'm missing a cd/dvd burner what do you guys suggest for that.

Thanks!

Do you need an o/s (Windows) included in your budget, and what is the intended use of your pc...gaming, surfing the internet, etc....

It will used for gaming and surfing the web mostly. I don't need an O/S.

My monitor will make it $900 build. Crap I'll just get that later.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Comb [...] mbo.256266 <----here's a combo deal worth looking at.

To answer your question...two cards in that mobo would have them running at 8x and 8x

Does that make much of a difference? 8x and 8x vs 16x and 16x?

I can't find any kind of warranty information on the Video card you suggested.

I'm not sure what the warranty specs are on that card. As far as the bandwith for a dual vid card set up in that build...no it will not affect it with your resolution. You will be just fine.

Hey thanks a lot! I decided to go with the combo you suggested. Good savings there! Ohhh.. I found on another website that the warranty is 2 years.

thanks again!
