Hey, I recently upgraded to the newest version of CCC (ATI Catalyst Control Centre) v9.9 and updated my drivers on the HD 4890 and everything worked fine. I was tinkering with the new stuff in CCC and accidentally set the TV has the default display (never plugged the comp into a TV before). Now when I turn the computer on, everything boots, but when Windows boots, the screen goes black. I have tried both DVI ports and both don't work. BTW, I'm on the same computer but it's on safemode with networking.

CCC will not open on safemode since the ATI drivers have not loaded and I cant see anything when it's on normal mode. :fou:

Any ideas on how I can fix this problem? I'm pretty sure I just have to detect the monitor and then set it as the default. Just no idea on how to do it when I cant see the desktop lol..im so stupid :pt1cable:

Thanks alot.

Easy, When you see that list of safe-mode options.
Choose "VGA Mode"
This will use a basic VGA driver.
Then I suggest you attempt to make the changes you need or re-install the driver.
