Hardware Configuration required

Hi,
I am a bit confused in choosing a hardware for my test server.
I am planning for a high performance system that can run hyper v or VMware
I am plotting a few intrests and will request recomendations in terms of performance and price.

QuadCore Processor :3Ghz or above.
Compatible Motherboard
Recomended RAM and maximum supported. (Looking for 16GB)
Graphics adapter With minimum onboard 1GB RAM
A good recomended Monitor
SMPS
CPU Case.

Any other tips and recomendation is also welcome.
