New power supplie

I've just made an upgrade to my pc buying AMD Phenom II 955, ASUS Crosshair Formula 3 and 4 gig Corsair GT 1600 Mhz. However all this staff has to run on my old 400w psu. Since I am also planning on getting HD 5970 I was wondering what psu would be better for this job.

So far I have two candidates : OCZ Z Series 850W and Corsair HX850W.

Any response will be appreciated.

Corsair for sure. You can get the 750TX or even the 650 and be fine. I think the 850 is on sale at newegg for the same price as a 750 right now though. If you plan on running Crossfire 5970s then go for the 850 to be sure.
