Upgrading CPU

I was doing a search on upgrading the CPU for a Hp m7360n Media Cemter computer and I came across your forum community. My system has a Pentium D 920 2.8 GHz processor on an Asus P5LP-LE motherboard(Emery-UL8E). I would like to go with a dual core rather than an upgraded Pentium D. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Maybe you can replace the motherboard with a new uATX that supports newer CPUs?
