I have a Rosewill Destroyer case, and I'm adding/replacing some fans, as well as getting a NZXT Sentry 2 fan controller. I would keep the cpu fan connected to the MB header, with the other 5 fans on the Sentry 2. I have two thoughts right now as to how I want to handle the airflow, diagrams are below.
F stands for Fan, TS stands for Temperature Sensor
F1 = 1600 RPM Scythe Slipstream, Front-Bottom
TS1 = on the HDD
F2 = 1300 RPM Yate Loon, Front-Middle
TS2 = on the SSD
F3 = 1600 RPM Scythe Slipstream, Top-Front
TS3 = SouthBridge heatsink
F4 = 1600 RPM Scythe Slipstream, Top-Rear
TS4 = DIMM slot 2 heatsink
F5 = 2200 RPM Yate Loon, Back-Top
TS5 = NorthBridge heatsink
Or, rotate the 212 EVO...
It seems like a plan to me, but I'm open to any and all suggestions/comments/critiques.
