CPU Usage 100%, Whats the Problem?

Hi,


I have a HP DV6 1154TX laptop,today i installed windows 7 32bit on it ,after that my pc become not responding,So changed it to vista ultimate again,Now the problem is the cpu idles at 100% duringidle and is very slow,It has a Core 2 Duo 2.40Ghz
4gb ddr2 800 dualchannel
and hd 4650 ddr3 1gb

Please help me in solving the problem!

Use task manager and look under the process tab. The entry with highest number under the CPU column is the culprit. Usually you should see this as system idle - if its not check and if possible determine what is hogging your processor resources

In my experience, this is most often caused by an errant AV program, usually Norton or TrendMicro.

Blue screen also ocured aftr the format and logon,The proces are normal as always!
