The voltages for AMD and Intel are different

Intel mainly use 1.25v to 1.65v AMD are normally 1.7+

Im 99.999% Sure That Any DDR3 Will Work Fine With Your AMD AM3 Machine Even If It Sais Its For An Intel Chipset. However The RAM Should Be Rated At What Your Motherboard/CPU Supports. (Speed, CAS And Voltage, Eg; DDR3-1066, 7-8-8-12, 1.7v)
