Hi....... I am working in ubuntu and i am developing a website. All the images are stored in images folder. In mozilla firefox browser all images are displayed. But when I use IE or XP some of the images are not displayed. What I need to do? Can anyone please help me out? Is there any problem with my coding or is it a problem of windows ?

Every website editor stores links to images in their own way, you need to learn to use html, read the image link codes and re-write if necessary to display images on edit. Note however that when you upload pages, the links will(should) reflect where the photos are on the website server after uploading them. Just like using Linux, developing your own website requires more knowledge than button pushing, sorry.
