LOKI Heatsink

Hi I have recently built a new rig.
I have brought a Loki SD963 heatsink but not sure on how to fit to Asus M5A78L-M USB3 motherboard.
What I really wanted to know was- Do you remove the black bracket that comes attached to the motherboard ( the one that the stock cooler fits on)?

FYI - yes you remove the front bracket and back plate from cpu to use xigmatek's solution
