Xp files in win 7

After doing a clean install of 7 over xp, will the files in other drives(D,E,F...) be deleted or can i still use those files in win 7?

As long as you don't format the other drives they will remain untouched.

You can still see them. Anyway have backup

Make sure those drives are not just partitions off the main drive. If you run a setup of Windows it can be very easy to delete the whole drive and not just the partition you are working on.

You also need to make sure you re-install the software to work with those files. Office, DVD players, etc...
