The 32 versus 64 applies either to the cpu or windows version, not the motherboard.

The i7 processor may be compatible with the motherboard. It depends on which model you have.

There are two different "sockets", the LGA1156 and 1333. Check the i7 socket. Like if you have an 860, its a 1156 socket. If you have a 920, 940, ect you have the 1333
