Hi,

My old seagate barracuda 7200.11 320 gb 16 cache (ST3320613AS) had a score of 5.9 in the windows 7 index experience score, but i am baffled that my newly installed western digital WD1002FBYS-02A6B0 1TB 32 cache, scores 5.9.

I expected it to be higher than this, is there a reason for this, and has anybody else experienced the scenario?

All the HDD have the same score, I have two Itachi 500GB and my score is 5.9, some HDD like the spinpoint F3 from Samsung, or WD Velociraptor could archive 6.3, BUT isn't problem of your HDD, is 'cause all this HDD have mobile parts, big difference from the SSD that could archive 7.5 or more...
