Hi there,
I just got an HD 4770 graphics card which has a 6 pin power connector. It come with a 6 pin cable that splits into two three pin connectors that are supposed to connect directly to the power supply.
The problem is I can't seem to find a single available connector to my power supply. This is an out of the box HP with no added peripherals by me.
The old nVidia card was using a 4-pin connector that went right into the motherboard.
Is this normal? Is it not possible to upgrade my video card without a new power supply, or am I overlooking some available connectors (the system is packed pretty tight).
Thanks.
