i am building up pc from used parts , i got working cpu,video card , good hard drive , and good power supply . if i use older working motherboard pc works , change over to msi 6734 or ecs k7s5a pro board pc seams to run but screen blank .
is boards bad or something else.

You need to list your parts specs; ram could be wrong variety, etc. Your question is too broad. Have you done a bare post on a non conductive surface? Have you tested your power supply on another system? Never assume your parts are good just because someone told you that.

new 600w power supply is working before,socket a 462 cpu working before,hd are small but working , don't know about mother boards or the memory in them i have tryed.
tryed 2 used boards one ecs k7s5a pro and a msi km4m-ms-6734 both useing the tested cpu.
