Epic Fail........

Putting together my 3rd rig, i started building last summer and im 19 years old


So I had the bare minimum plugged in and i turned the computer on to see if everything would boot on my first go around (usually im missing something)

well my cpu fans starts spinning, and i'm overexcited, like "finally, i can build a computer without stupid mistakes to slow me down"

............

well i was over excited and decided to start plugging in fans to make sure everything was working... (while my computer was still on)

plugged in my 250GTS to the power supply, then a case fan and then... my computer shuts off

took me a few hours to realize that i did something wrong by plugging in the video card

i RMAed the Mobo and PSU to newegg....

i have learned my lesson...........

Don't despair iv broken a lot of computer to learn how to fix them

lol. Fail? you NEVER plug in anything when the PCs ON! RTFM!

A word of advice: ALWAYS power off the system before adding the components.
