Run existing XP on RAID without reinstall?

Hello,
my winxp pro sp3 only runs on IDE. Can I fix it to accept RAID without reinstalling? xw4600- BIOS can switch back and forth- but am also using win7 on another hard drive and SATA on both would be much more convenient.
