Which one will give me better performance:two 1 gb ram of dual channel or just one 2 gb ram?

Dual channel will be a bit faster.

Yes I agree, however when you come to upgrade (which you will need to soon with only 2GB) a single 2GB stick may be better so you can have 4gb and only have to buy one more stick.

But how can i make sure the 2 gb ram will be able to compatible with my future 2 gb ram. i mean in terms of dual channel. Can all ram do that?

You'll have to buy an identical module or one that has similar characteristics.
