how to remove write protection in sd memory

Slide the write protect switch so that it's positioned towards the end of the card that has the metal contacts:

thx.....sminlal. but i want to say that i m not using that adapter u r showing . i am directly inserting the sd card into multi card reader. and then when i try to copy media to sd card it says write protection ..........plz help me..........thankyou ..

What I showed isn't an adapter, it's the SD card itself. The switch is right on the card.
