Computer seems to run slow 2 or 3 months after i installed server pack 3. I've defragged, checked for viruses and spy ware, etc. Not sure on how much GB my hard drive is. It takes forever to load up any page or anything at all. Any tips or suggestions on if i can make it faster?

Here are your system specs... http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc [...] =c00497067

This only leaves two upgrade paths.
1) Buy a WD 250, 320 or 500 GB IDE hard drive and do a fresh install. Having a newer IDE and more space will help speed things up some.

2) Add an AGP graphics card to your system. Review Newegg.com for an AGP card in an ex exceptable price range for you. This will take some load off your CPU.

Can you list your full system specs, so we know what we have to work with?

Yeah, and don't install service pack 3, you don't need it at all.

Is there a certain kind of graphic card or hard drive that is compatible with my computer or doesn't it matter.

Here is a picture of your motherboard and the motherboard specifications link... http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc [...] cc=us#N940

Here is what I would recommend for a video card: XFX HD-465X-ZPF2 Radeon HD 4650 1GB 128-bit DDR2 AGP 8X HDCP Ready Video Card - Retail

Your board does support a SATA hard drive, so I would recommend this hard drive: SAMSUNG Spinpoint F1 HD502lJ 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive - OEM. It will run at 1.5GB/s speed since that is what your motherboard runs at. This will still be faster than an IDE hard drive.
