Hi. I have a linksys WAP54G access Point set up on a sky broadband network to widen the range. The access point is set up in normal AP mode and is set to automatically get an IP address from the sky router however the sky router does not show this device in the "attached devices" section of the routers web admin. Why is this?

Are you connecting the AP to the router by ethernet or trying to use wireless (WDS).

Which Sky router do you have ?

The DG834GT doesn't support WDS, the black Netgear is similar to a DG834 but I suspect it would only support WDS if reflashed to Netgear's retail firmware.

If you are using the standard Sky firmware, I think you might get better answers than I can give if you go to the independent
