Crossover build...good choice?

I just bought the parts to a computer and am wondering if I short changed myself on cpu. I put a phenom II x4 945 with dual hd 4890 gpu's. I am curious if i can oc the 945 to good to great levels and will this combo be pretty powerful

sorry, forgot that part, its a GigaByte GA-MA785GT-UD3H mobo with 4GB PC1333 DDR3 PC3 and 500 gb (2x250 raid hd) oh and i went with the 955 not 945

awesome, thanks for the help, i did upgrade to high oc heatsink and 700 watt power supply hopefully they should handle the load this machine will bring

The time to ask the question is BEFORE you buy, not after.
That said, you are probably OK, unless you will be using a low resolution monitor. In such a case, the vga configuration might be stronger than the cpu's ability to drive it.
