WEP key

Hello,
I have my WEP key but how do I know if it is case senstive?

Where do I look for the Wep number to see what the letters are if they are case sensitive?
I can connect fine but when my children come to the house they always has some problem and they are using the same Wep that I am.

It's stored on the wireless router.
