Hello,
When I view a pdf file, I am unable to use search engine in pdf tab or any other tab for that matter. I have to open a new window to do searches. I am using FF 10.2. xp, adobe 9.

Update Adobe to ver 10.1.2

Sounds like you need a utility called Secunia PSI which is a personal Software inspector which notifies you with a weekly scan of outdated software.

It will scan automatically after installation, then weekly thereafter.
