no worries mate, ddr3 will work fine with that am3 motherboard.

It will "work" but it will not work well.
You want to get 4gb of ram in 2x2gb sticks for dual channel ram not triple channel ram like the ram you linked.
Ram like this would be much better.

1- AMD mobos don't support Tri-channel, so, you are spend your money on that RAM.
2- For get the 1600, you need set all the specifications manually on the BIOS.
3- THIS are very good options for your rig.
