A simple question regarding the SSD

Hello. I've recently become aware of these new SSD drives that are just in general very awesome. So of course I'd like to buy one for my computer setup. However, I'm wondering if there is a way I can transfer my C disk to this new SSD instead of having to install a new windows to get it to work. I tried looking around on google to find out if someone had asked a similar question, but I didn't have any luck with that.

So that is what brought me here. I remembered this site because I've been here a couple of times lurking around to get answers to other questions and I thought the community here was quite helpful, so I thought I'd try getting an answer from you. :)

Thank you in advance.

  1. Yes, there is a simple and very effective way. Just 'clone' the old HDD on to the new SSD, Install the SSD in place of the old HDD and you will never see the change except for the blazing speed of the SSD.

This will give you everything you need. Instructions are simple and detailed. This is what I used.
