im trying to help a friend fix his computer. when starting up it gave an error message saying diskette drive failed and bios battery voltage low i think it was.
his computer doesnt have a diskette drive so i removed from the start up sequence and replaced the battery on the mother board(research on the error said this should be the solution)
so new battery and diskette removed from start up, plugged tower in fan went into hyperspeed screen black and power light amber. repeated process got computer to start booting now it says theres another error and does the whole start in safe mode, safe mode with networking etc etc. no matter what i select i cannot get the computer to finish booting. help!!! thanks
