Hello,

I am finalizing my new build, and I want to know if for the purposes of gaming am I better off with:

8 gb total of this: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1682... for 220.98 dollars (im Canadian so its from .ca)

Or

4gb of the faster Ripjaws?

It will be going into a:
Intel i5 750
ASUS P7P55D PRO
Intel X25-V SSD
850w Corsair
Win7 pro

I am thinking that I probably don't need 8gb and should just stick with the slightly quicker ripjaws and could upgrade later, Thoughts?

Honestly, you don't need 8 gb right now. 4gb is plenty for most things at this point in time, and if you feel the need, you can upgrade later. I would go for the faster ripjaws too- you'll notice the faster timings (7-7-7-24 vs 9-9-9-24 is a pretty solid difference) I did some testing with my ram when I first built my system and found that it felt much faster running cl7 at ~1400 than running cl9 at ~1700
