Keep in mind that you will have to set voltage to a certain value. You can try setting it to 1.6V and see what happens to the Corsair module. RAM modules can tolerate 0.1v voltage bumps.

Generally, if two modules have same timings, same frequency, and same voltage ratings, then you can mix them no problem. Only when there are disparities will you have potential issues.
