Last night my computer reset for no reason and after opening it up and checking it out I found out that the fan on my Asus 4850 has stopped spinning so my card was overheating. I don't overclock or anything but I do use the computer quite regularly. Is there a cheap way that I can solve this problem? At least temporarily.
I won't have money for a new card or anything over $20 for another few weeks. And I also don't think I have the items and information I need for the warranty. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you ahead of time.
maybe you can simply replace you HS with new one or put 80mm fans underneath your HS with air blowing into the HS for temporary solution. just my suggestion though.....
+1 To strapping an 80mm fan on it.
It might not be the most glamorous looking card afterwards but it should keep it cool.
