Hello,I just put together a new system, IT is as follows
Asus m4a785t-m motherboard
amd quad core 630 2.8
ripjaw 4 gigs of ddr3 1600 pc 12800 dual channel

my question is when i run cpuz it tells me that i am running single channel memory, now i have looked through the bios and found no where to set it to dual channel, although in the clock settings it does allow me to set the frequency to 800mhz. on the board itself i have the memory in the correct slots or atleast I believe so, as they are in slots 1 and 3.

any tips would be helpfull

There is no setting in the BIOS to enable dual channel. That's all determined by using the correct RAM slots on the motherboard. I would re-read the section of the motherboard owners manual that tells you which slots to use for dual channel operation.
