What cpu and motherboard

HI, I need your advice on a desktop cpu and motherboard, I don't play games, I mainly use the pc for editing a few photo's surfing, and burning dvd's, I would like the latest technology, my budget is £250, I already have a pc case, Antec Sonata lll with own psu 500 watt, a samsung sata hdd, dvd burner and rom, all sata connection, if I could get a mb with HDMI that would be good, my is o/s is win 7 or winxp. your help is appreciated

I'm not really sure about pounds, but I would suggest that you go with AMD because they have the best motherboards with integrated graphics. Get a motherboard with the 785G chipset and then use the rest of your money on the CPU and get a triple or a quad if you can.
