Upgrading my pc your thoughts pls.

so i bought a gateway sx2800 (q8200, 4gb ddr3) and was not happy bout it ( i know i should have built). So ive been upgrading it little by little. I moved everything to an antec 300 case upgraded power supply to 500Watt OCZ and have a radeon 4650.

I have $160 to spare and was wondering what to upgrade next:

1) new motherboard so I can overclock my cpu?

2) HD5770 or HD4870 which ever you guys think is better.

3) New quad core cpu

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks guys

I wouldn't get a new motherboard because that chipset is already outdated. I would either save up for a motherboard and CPU combo like the i5 and with a P55 or get a graphics card like the HD5770 as long as your power supply can handle it.

I have a 500 watt psu so I guess taht would be enough for the 5770. Hmmm Im not sure if i want to invest in an i5 cuz my computer is jus a couple of months old. maybe in a year. Thanks for the suggestion.
