Hello community!

I just bought a noname fan controller from e-bay like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/3-5-Bay-4-RPM-Fan-Speed-Controller-panel-LED-indicator_W0QQitemZ180443216226QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2a0340f962 and i was wondering if there are any risks by using this product.Since i can see that these controllers are of lower quality than the akasha's or thermaltake's , is there any way it can short circuit or even melt down  and damage my psu or hurt pc's inner components?

Thanks in advance!

i highly doubt that an unnamed product from china will can't go wrong but sometimess they work. i don't think a fan could damage a cpu unless it and the heatsink are just not there.
