Hard Drive

Hello,
Dimension 4300 wont recognize the hard drive and i dont know what to do can anyone help me? I replaced it with a new hard drive know it wont work.

Can you please provide the model of your laptop, as well as the the model of the new hard-drive you replaced it with.

Does it show up in your BIOS/drive manager? Or nothing at all.
