I was pleased with myself when I got the DVI card to HDMI to show up on my TV screen and works just fine. THe card is an old Radeon 32.

My bitch is that if I interrupt the signal - by toggling the input on the TV to the tuner then back to the HDMI input - I lose the signal and have to reboot the computer to get my signal back. Is it that I have an old card, or is this the nature of feeding a DVI signal up to HDMI and into a TV?

THanks!

Karl

I think on older cards, it has to be a constant connection. In today's cards, if you boot the computer without the HDMI connected to the TV, you have to reboot in order for the computer to detect (afaik).
