Ram types on a compaq sr1834nx

Hello, i just wanted to post that i have a Compaq presiaro SR1834NX computer with a Asus
A8AE-LE amberine m motherboard i system is dual channel with DDR ram 4 SLOTS
i currently have in the system 2 Corsair PC 3200 400mgz DDR XMS STICKS AT 1GB a peace and runs great. just to let u know in order to go 4gbs with this board u have to drop the mhz speed down to pc 2700 or 333mhz for it two take

You won't have a ram adjustment in the bios. It may default to the lower speed. For xp, you won't get much performance improvement. But if you are using vista or windows 7, it's worth it.

The Motherboard auto adjusts to the proper speed depending on ram.
